The Taste of NAB road show will be here on Saturday, May 17, 2008 for the annual NAB vendor update presented by Larry Bloomfield of Tech Notes fame. The SMPTE Club will be hosting the event in the television studio in Building 1200 {the Little Theater} Room 1230 on the Napa Valley College campus in Napa on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10am.

The attached letter updates the CBT license application deadline.

The SMPTE and SATv clubs met with their advisor on August 22, 2007 and elected officers for the new term. The new class of 2009 has begun their studies on August 20 with the lab class (BTV 121). There were 18 enrollees and 17 were in attendance. We currently have a cap of 20 students. Production labs, electronics mathematics and the theory classes are still held in the studio.
