The Most Active Student Chapter

In an earlier post I mentioned starting a classified ads section. We have put the idea on the back burner as we have lost most of the donated equipment we had in storage. The campus has been under construction for some time and one contractor accidentally caused a major flood in the building where we, and other departments, store various items.

The room where we kept our stuff was under 3 feet of muddy water, very little was salvageable. Worse, we were in the middle of a major studio overhaul and a number of items were stored prior to reinstallation. We don't know when, if, or how much we may see from an insurance claim against the loss.

We may revisit the use of a classified ads section in the future, possibly just for the hope of any donations we might request.
