New Club Officers Installed
The SMPTE and SATv clubs met with their advisor on August 22, 2007 and elected officers for the new term. The SMPTE11 clubs officers are; Christopher Roberts - President (chair [at] smpte11 [dot] org), Michael Calpo - Vice-President (vice-chair [at] smpte11 [dot] org), Katana Tanny - Secretary (secretary [at] smpte11 [dot] org) and Shiro Osawa -Treasurer (treasurer [at] smpte11 [dot] org).
The SATv clubs officers are; Choolwe Kalulu- President, Luis Guadarrama – Vice-President, Shiro Osawa- Treasurer and Katana Tanny- Secretary. The SATv (Student Access Tv) club is a new organization that allows all students to create programs, advertisements, documentaries and newscasts to further enhance their student experience at Napa Valley College.
A spirited discussion of possible future field trips and events ensued and so many good suggestions were put forward that it was decided that suggestions should be made via the smpte11.org website.
